The route runs from Odessa to the city of Dnipro in the picturesque places of Ukraine – the lower reaches of the Dnipro River, the Dnipro estuary with a visit to the Tendrivska spit and the passage of two locks Kakhovka reservoir.

Route description

Start in the Black Sea Yacht Club (Odessa) finish in the marina Sich (Dnipro). Route: Odessa – Tendrivska spit – Kherson – Nova Kakhovka (Maxmarine) – Nikopol – Zaporizhia – Dnipro. Duration 6 days (5 nights). The total distance is 295 miles. It is possible to start in Dnipro and finish in Odessa on the return route.

Passage on a yacht through two locks of the Kakhovka reservoir. The water drop in the Zaporizhia sluice is 41 meters.
Walks and acquaintances with the cities of Kherson, Nova Kakhovka, Nikopol, Zaporizhia and Dnipro.
Fishing, swimming, emerald lagoons, river lilies and white water lilies.
National Ukrainian cuisine, wine, beer and crayfish in colorful restaurants on the shore.
And, of course, the opportunity to take part in the management of a sailing yacht: for experienced yachtsmen it is a good occasion to improve their skills and get to know a new region, and for beginners – the opportunity to fall in love with sailing forever!
Tour program
You will find the protected nature of the lower Dnipro, islands and lagoons, hiking in the most interesting places, secluded bays, the cleanest water of the Black Sea in the area of Tendrivska spit, where we will swim, sunbathe and spend the night at anchor. At each parking lot in marinas you use free time at your discretion.
Journey duration: 6 days and 5 nights
Route: Odessa – Tendrivska Spit (35 miles) – Kherson (65 miles) – Nova Kakhovka (Maxmarine) (33 miles) – Nikopol (70 miles) – Zaporozhye (50 miles) – Dnipro (42 miles). The total distance is 295 miles. It is possible to start in the Dnipro and finish in Odessa on the return route.
And now – about the yacht:
Modern cruise sailing yachts have undoubted advantages in reliability and comfort for the entire crew. That is why yachting, as the best format of active recreation, is so popular all over the world today. Forty-feet (12.8 meters) yacht Amalfi will be for you for these 6 days a comfortable floating hotel, on board which you will meet events, dawns and every day in a new place.
Inside: three spacious cabins, living room, toilet, equipped galley. Sunbathing area on deck, inflatable boat with outboard motor, fishing tackle and bathing ladder at the stern of the yacht.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU?

Clothes and shoes

Waterproof jacket and pants, thermal underwear, windbreaker, cap, swimsuit / swimming trunks, shorts, sneakers with a smooth sole, shower flip-flops, sunglasses and sunscreen for face and body.

Documents

Passport, money (card), health insurance (preferably).
We recommend that you bring some cash with you for out-of-pocket expenses, such as souvenirs.
Packing things
Backpack (60-90l) or a soft travel bag, preferably a waterproof case for documents. DO NOT TAKE Hard suitcases!

Medicine

Sunscreen, painkillers, individual medications, seasickness remedies (if needed).
Personal Care

Toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, shampoo, wet wipes, paper towels.

The price includes:Sailing yacht rental and professional skipper services, refueling the yacht with fuel and water, bed linen and towel, inflatable boat with motor for landing on islands and beaches, gas for stove, parking in marinas and for passage locks, yacht insurance.
The price does not include: medical insurance, excursions, personal expenses on shore. The captain (skipper) on board is fed by the crew
